With impressive amounts of space inside, you can relax and get on with your hobbies, or even get some work done. With shiplap tongue and groove used throughout construction and strong 44mm rounded framework, the Shire Workspace offers a much higher quality of building than many other sheds in a similar size. The fact it is a Shire shed means you can be assured of top grade shed timber . Shire only source timber from Scandinavia and Siberia where the best timber for sheds is produced. The timber is tight grained producing less sap and is therefore a more durable timber than the faster growing timber used by other shed manufacturers.
Walls – The shiplap profile allows efficient run off of water and helps keep the shed nice and dry inside, while the tongue and groove construction helps to minimise draughts.
Door – A padbolt (padlock not supplied) is supplied for security.
Roof and Floor – The roof and floor of the shed are constructed from the same high quality tongue and groove as the walls for an excellent finish throughout the building. The shed floor also comes with floor joists giving the shed a solid sturdy feel and greater load capacity.
Windows – All shed windows are glazed with horticultural glass. The windows allow plenty of light to flood into the shed and can be fitted to either side.
Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer’s instructions.
