This playhouse is built from shiplap pine in a sturdy tongue and groove construction, making it better sealed from the elements and giving it an attractive finish. The floor and roof are constructed from Oriented Strand Board (OSB). Other features include environmentally-friendly shatter resistant styrene window glazing and safety hinges as standard for added peace of mind.
The Shire Bunny Playhouse is supplied with a dip-treated base coat as standard, with a top coat available as an option for a stronger finish, which makes the wood appear golden brown. The Bunny does not come pre-painted, giving you a blank canvas to tailor the playhouse to your child’s desires. The manufacturer recommends applying a water-based top coat of your choice, preventing the timber from weathering and therefore making the playhouse last longer.
The Bunny Playhouse is supplied flat-packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, though you can choose to add assembly if desired.
