  2. If you are happy with the monthly instalments – add the building to your basket and go to checkout.
  3. Once in checkout you will be asked to complete all your personal details, then scroll down the page and you will be given three payment options. There is Worldpay, PayPal and the Payl8r. Choose the Payl8r option, tick that you have read terms & conditions and continue.
  4. Now you will be taken to the Payl8r application screen. Here you will find four further screens that you will need to complete.  Firstly you will choose your deposit amount, followed by more personal information. Then we will require for your bank details  to set up future direct debits and card details to make your deposit payment. If you are accepted the only payment that will be taken immediately will be your agreed deposit amount that you chose in the earlier screens.
  5. Submit your application, in most cases you will be given an instant decision. However, on rare occasions the decision will be referred for manual underwriting decision.
  6. If the application is successful the deposit payment will be taken and then Timberdise will be informed immediately and we will contact you to arrange delivery of your new building as soon as possible.
  7. Payl8r will also contact you to confirm your application and confirm a Direct Debit date.

A robust log cabin style garden shed or workshop with secure fully framed double doors and a joinery quality opening window.  Tongue and groove roof and floor with pressure treated bearers. Doors are fully framed and feature full length piano style hinges to improve security. The top hung opening window is a joinery standard, storm resistant design secured with a peg stay. The interlocking timbers that make up the walls of the building are 19mm thick some 50% thicker than a normal garden shed; roof and floor are 12mm thick.  Where dimensions are critical please check internal (Floor) sizes as Log cabins are sized to the edge of the individual boards.  Internal eaves height is a full 6′ (1825mm) The building is manufactured here in the UK and all of the wood used is high grade, FSC approved Northern European Pine.  The floor is included in the price.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE: These are big log cabins with very heavy panels and as such will not fit through a house or a garage with standard doors. You must ensure that you have adequate access to take the building to the site. If on delivery you find that the building is too big for your access and cannot accept delivery you will be charged a collection fee.

LEAD TIME: General lead time on log cabin buildings is between two to four weeks, in our busier periods of the year these can occasionally go up to six weeks but this is on rare occasions.

CHOOSING MY DELIVERY DATE: Once we have received confirmation of your order a member of our team will contact you normally within one business day. At this point we shall confirm your order and then you can choose the delivery date which suits you. If you have chosen installation too we normally arrange for our installation teams to arrive within two days of your building being delivered to complete the installation of your building. This can be effected during the high season but a member of our team is on hand to discuss this further if you have any questions.

Ground Base Info

Here at Timberdise Garden Buildings not only do we specialise in the construction of your new wooden garden building but we also offer very important extras should you need them such as a base for your new building to stand on.

The first thing is not to get confused between the base and the floor. All of the buildings supplied by Timberdise Garden Buildings come with floors regardless of whether you buy a base from us or not. The base is what your new wooden garden building will need if you do not have a suitable surface for it to go on.

Timberdise Garden Buildings will ask you to sign a disclaimer against premature rotting and cracking if we feel you do not have a suitable base and opt not to take out a base with ourselves when we arrive to complete your installation.

What is an unsuitable base?

  • Uneven ground
  • Soft Ground (such as a mud or grass area)

To explain further, if you have a patio area and the patio area is uneven we would deem that unfit to place one of our wooden garden buildings on. Another example would be if you wanted to install the new building on a grassy area or on muddy ground this would also be unfit for one of our wooden garden buildings.

So what does a Timberdise Base do?

  • Timberdise Garden Buildings construct the base out of wooden timbers, typically 4×2 inch pressure treated timbers. We then attach legs to these timbers which are typically 3×3 inch pressure treated timbers which lift the base off the ground and allow us to adjust to make the base level.
  • If the above is constructed onto hard ground such as concrete or patio area then the legs will stand on top of that ground. If it is to be constructed over soft ground such as mud or grass we will use concrete slabs for the legs to stand on.
  • The base makes the building level and also lifts the building above the 2 inch recommended distance from ground level to bottom of your new wooden building. Again this is to prevent premature rotting and give you the longest life possible.

Anti-Rot Guarantee

All of the wooden garden buildings at Timberdise come with an anti-rot guarantee for peace of mind that your new garden building will be around long after we have supplied it. All buildings come with a 10 year anti-rot guarantee apart from the pressure treated range as these come with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee.

Most of the wooden garden buildings we supply come with a pre-coat of treatment that we like to call transportation protection. This protects the buildings from the elements as we deliver them to you and also gives you a small period of time from installation to actually getting the building treated yourself so that the building is not exposed during this crucial stage of its life (this does not include log cabins and garden rooms). Log cabins and garden rooms come without any treatment so make sure you treat these buildings within the first week of them being installed.

We at Timberdise will always advise you to treat your new wooden garden building as soon as you possibly can and ask that you continue to treat the building at least every 12 months there after. This is to ensure you get the maximum life out of the building and prevent against any premature rotting. We also advise you that to keep your guarantee valid you do have to treat both inside and outside of the buildings as most buildings don’t come with any damp protection.
