The Hampton Summerhouse is an attractive building which is particularly spacious and fits perfectly into the corner, wasting no space.

A great space to relax in and enjoy the outdoors even on those cooler evenings. Two large opening criss-crossed windows combine with the matching double doors to provide a bright and airy atmosphere inside.
There is no extra cost for our opening windows. Produced to the highest standards using quality timbers from sustainable sources. Shire buildings are made from a high grade ship-lap tongue and groove construction.
This is distinguished from fast grown type timber used on cheaper sheds from other manufactures. Tongue and groove construction means the building is better sealed from the elements. The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life.
Frame – A robust Planed 35x35mm (1 1/2′ x 1 1/2′) framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength.
Floor – manufactured from high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding.
Roof – constructed using 11mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB), Roof felt supplied.
Walls – are constructed using high quality 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding.
Treatment – all Shire buildings are supplied with a factory applied first coat treatment in a honey brown water based product. The summerhouse will require a second coat wood preservative to be applied.
Windows – are properly morticed and tenoned. They are opening, profiled, and weather resistant. The window has a unique profiled ‘lip’ that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel making it weather resistant. Casement stays have 2 levels of opening. The glazing is 3mm horicultural glass. All glazing is retainedby profiled beading which is pre-mitred (no awkward corners to be cut).
Doors: Joinery double doors with 3mm horticultural glass glazing.
Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price with clear easy to follow instructions.
